1974

Mon – No school. Memorial Day. Had brunch. Went to K-Mart. Got new Bar-B-Q. Frank put together. Elaine, Don, Carol, Jim, Carolyn & Bill. Had potato salad, baked beans, hamb. & hot dogs. Made cake. Elaine hurt ankle.

Tue – School. Took Ivan to dental. Picked up Elaine. Took her to hospital for x-ray.. Not broken. Went shopping. Dave took her back. Took Harry to Dr & Greg to work. Got Harry again. Ivan had game.

Wed- School. Rain. Cut out & sewed Elaine’s dress – difficult. Went to store. Frank got milk. Visited Iames. Stan & I took walk. Misty. Made bread & roast beef.

Thu – School. Took shower & washed hair. Washed clothes. Went to store. Cool. Fixed stuffed chicken. Poured down rain. Finished Elaine’s dress.

Fri – School. Went to bank. Cleaned living room & kitchen. Went to Grace’s shop in Elizabeth. Nice visit. Went to Hahn’s. Bought living room furniture. Elaine & Don here.

Sat – Washed clothes. Carol came out. We went shopping for drapery material. Carol took Julie home with her. Stan painted. Frank had game.

Sun – Picked strawberries. Made strawberry pie & apple pizza. Stan painted slats for awning. Drove to Wexford to get Julie. Uncle Bill stopped out. Frank helped Bill at shop.

1975

Tue – School. Greg has poison ivy. Washed clothes. Swept & mopped cellar. Took Ivan to Pitt dentist. Took Greg to Dr (long wait). Marion called.

Wed – Greg home. Baked banana cake & cookies. Worked around trees & put peat moss. Ivan & Julie had games. Had soup supper. Worked outside again. Stan went to shop. Bill & Stella came out.

Thu – School. Frank here early. Got Frank new tennis shoes. Took Greg to Dr. Found Frank’s clothes. Washed them. Took Frank to McKeesport & got him room. Stan & I went to Julie’s game.

Fri – School. Cleaned house. Took cold beer to Stan & got milk. Frank came. Took Ivan to game & Frank to McKeesport. Got him groceries. Went back to Ivan’s game.

Sat – Kids cleaned. Took Greg to Dr. & went to store. Took kids swimming (Bo & Bimmer, too). Made hamburgers. Took Ivan to Bill’s (to cut grass). I went swimming in eve. Went with Stan to get Ivan.

Sun – Cooler. Kids went swimming anyway. Hoed garden & replanted corn & beans. Rain in eve. Wrote to Elaine & Dave. Called Mary.

Mon – School. Cool. Washed clothes. Swept & mopped. Took Greg for shot (last one). Changed sheets. Took boys to game (rain). Stan took Ivan to his. Julie went with Dyson’s.

1976

Thu – Greg’s last day school. Worked. Called Hatfield’s about Robin. Took shower & washed hair. Knitted & went to bed early.

Fri – Worked. Girls & I went to South Park Inn for lunch. Greg had picnic at South Park. Got stuck with Plymouth on way to work. Planted zinnias out front. Marion called.

Sat – Washed clothes. Went to bank & store. Greg got shoes. Finished Harry’s sweater. Looked through pattern books for making Carol shell.

Sun – Made cup cakes & cake. Fixed roast & potatoes. Cleaned house – Stan helped. Iced cakes. Dave & Ivan went to show. Stan & I went to Hatfield’s to see Pap. Tired.

Mon – Memorial day. Made potato salad. Nice but cool. Kids went swimming – too cold. Washed clothes. Got gas, air in tires & went to store. Bill called – moved. Frank here – had potato salad & all fixings. Wrote letters.

Tue – School. Worked. Rain. Greg’s commencement at the gym. Crowded. Stan, Julie & I went. Had cake.

Wed – School. Worked. Greg & Harry went for drivers test – both failed. Bill & Carolyn stopped by. Washed clothes. Went to store.

1977

Fri – School. Kids missed bus. Took Pontiac. Washed clothes. Sometimes dryer didn’t work. Harry had game. (Not good). Greg had bloody nose. Stan had Dr. examination for insurance.

Sat – Up early. Cleaned out refrigerator. Went to store. Stan & Dave went to shop. Cleaned kitchen & bath. Made apple rhubarb dessert & pepper steak. Watered. Ivan hurt on bike. Ruptured spleen. Operation.

Sun – Stan not home from hospital until 7:00AM. Wrote brother Bill. Read paper. Visited Ivan. Guys worked on wall. Elaine Johnson stayed for supper. Harry & Greg visited Ivan at hospital. Wrote Harold.

Mon – Memorial day. No school. Stan went to shop in morning. Made potato salad & iced cake. Kids went swimming. Visited Ivan at hospital. Had cookout. Hoed & watered garden.

Tue – School. Washed clothes. Swept & mopped. Stan moved lathe ball mill machine. Went to store. Stuck with Pontiac. Took Dave’s car. Visited Ivan with Mary. Bill & Carolyn visited Ivan & stopped here.

Wed – School. Stan at shop. Washed Julie’s window. Went to milk store. Went to Ferrari’s for pop. Had to get jumped. Went to hospital. Left car – Frank started it. Washed kitchen windows. Watered.

Thu – Stan took Pontiac. School. Took Julie to Pitt dental ($1.50 parking). Went to library for Poe (Harry). Went to store. Stan & I visited Ivan. Mrs. Baker there. Ivan had 1^st food. Harry had game.

1978

Sat – Washed clothes. Went to store. Kids worked on garage ceiling. Went to bank and other store. Had corn on cob & fr. bologna. Worked on scarf – Julie. Julie started to cut out shorts & top.

Sun – Hot. Kids got disgusted with garage. Stan tried to work on it. Dave took Julie to game (Pirates 5 – Expos 2). Planted flowers & replanted corn & beans. Watered garden. Made chop suey.

Mon – No school. Memorial day. Hot. Made potato salad. Went to store. Clairton Pool not open. Harry & Julie went to Abbels. Dave came. Called Stella. Played volley ball & had cook out. Bill had extra pepper plants. Planted & watered.

Tue – School. Hot. Washed clothes. Swept & Frank mopped. Washed kitchen windows & curtains. Made spaghetti. Mike Siminski came to see about Ivan & paper route. Julie cut front grass.

Wed – School. Hot. Frank watered. Washed living room windows & put up screens. Started Stan’s corduroy shirt. Put fertilizer on blueberries. Talked with Kern’s.

Thu – School. Drove Greg to work. Washed clothes. Washed last of windows. Frank watered. Went to Kroger & Foodland. Harry worked Benack’s. Visited Merry Jo McGee.

Fri – Last day of school for Harry. He drove Subaru. Marion called. Made cream pie. Went to Murphy Mart & store. Rained.

1974

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Swept & mopped. Mended. Greg worked. Ivan cut front grass. Carol & Jim came out.

Tue – School. Went to store. Went to K-Mart. Got dresses – El & trousers – Stan. Stan home sick. Stan went to see Damico about dent in car. Paid. Took Harry to Dr. – knee. Greg worked.

Wed- School. Straightened house. Dave took Greg to dentist at Pitt. Took Elaine & Sue back to Oakland, too. Elaine liked 1 dress. Talked to Elaine (phone). Went to card party at Dyson’s – nice.

Thu – School. Washed clothes. Went to store. Got milk. Ivan had game. Took clothes back to K-Mart. Picked strawberries. Mary called.

Fri – School. Julie had field trip. Carol called. Worked on Carol’s drapes. Cleaned out fire place. Washed bathroom window. Dave worked on paper. Stan home late. Harry had game. Finished drapes for Carol.

Sat – Stan fixed mowers. Washed clothes. Went to store. Washed living room drapes & windows. Cleaned living room. Kids cut grass. Mended. Mixed cookie dough.

Sun – Made cookies & cake. Made potato salad. Stan worked on awning. Started to paint it. Cut front grass. Dave worked on school paper.

1975

Tue – School. Washed Harry’s uniform. Mrs. Benack took to school. Frank hit Stan. Took Frank to Homestead and left him. Stopped at bank & store. Took kids to practice & got them. Voted.

Wed – School. Called Eleanor. Went to store & K-Mart. Washed bathroom & bedroom windows & put up screens. Julie had game. G & H practice. Dave came home. He visited Bill in eve. Took out tulips & planted zinnias.

Thu – School. Hot. Transplanted petunias. Started to cut front grass. Rain & thunder showers. Dave went to Paul Arch. Frank called from Frankie Hinkle’s. Marion called.

Fri – School. Carol called. Got call from South Hills counselor about Frank. Called Dr. Baum. Cleaned house. Washed living room windows. Put up screens. Kids played cards. Julie had game.

Sat – Chased Frank away. Drove Dave to get bus. Went to bookmobile & store. Hot & humid. Washed clothes. Read story. Watched TV. Rain. (Didn’t go to art festival.)

Sun – Baked cake. Read paper. Ivan cut front grass. Went to Shop ‘N Save. Iced cake. Took Julie out to Bill & Carolyn. Visited. Stan helped me make potato salad.

Mon – No school. Memorial Day. Rain in morning. Took Ivan & Julie to store. Had picnic supper. Harry, Stan & I cut back grass. Took Frank to get clothes in woods (couldn’t find).

1976

Thu – School. Worked. Car stalled on way home. Stan took car for spin & got Hi-test gas. Washed clothes. Mr. Colonna added on to his roof.

Fri – School. Worked. Dorothy Maloy had party for 21^st wedding anniversary. Harry had last game at school. Went to bank & store. Carol called. Knitted bootie. Dr. Pietro called about Frank. To see him Wednesday.

Sat – Nice. Kids cleaned. Washed hair. Washed clothes. Knitted bootie for girl at work. Finished. Made stuffed peppers & cabbage. Julie had practice. Knitted Harry’s sweater. Watched “On a Clear Day” on TV.

Sun – Nice day. Harry helped Stan fix emergency brake on Simca. Dave drove kids to Carol’s. I cleaned house & stuffed chicken. Planted tomatoes. Stan & Harry cut grass.

Mon – School. Worked. Had left over chicken. Washed clothes Julie had game. Harry had exhibition game. Dave went to see Pirates.

Tue – Worked. Cool. Electricity off at Tumac’s for 25 minutes. Dave took Ivan to dentist. He went to store & made chili. I went to store, too. Swept cellar. Dave mopped.

Wed – School. Worked. Cold & rainy. Long day. Stopped at K-Mart. Had cabbage rolls. Harry had practice. Julie game. Washed clothes. Made beef stroganoff. Mr. DiPietro didn’t show.

1977

Fri – School. Washed clothes. Car wouldn’t start. Washed curtains & dining room windows. Baked cake. Stan took Pontiac out to Bill. Julie & I went shopping at Murphy’s and Giant Eagle.

Sat – Hot. Planted flowers. Went to Murphy’s Mart for more & peat moss. Watered. Stan & kids cut grass. Looked nice. Made egg fu yung. Crocheted.

Sun – Read paper. Went to store. Crocheted Elaine’s shawl. Harry washed car. Mary called. Made ice tea & cookie dough. Watched “Poldark”. Kids showered.

Mon – School. Washed 5 loads of clothes. Swept & mopped. Changed sheets. Stan got case of pop. Poured rain. Julie made cookies for school.

Tue – School. I went to work. Hot & humid. Stan worked at shop. Dave made meat loaf for supper. Went to art show at Valley School. Julie took cookies. Harry had game. Dave went to Pirate.

Wed – Hot & humid. School. I worked. Stan worked at home & went to shop. Dave cooked supper. Stan went back to shop. Hoed garden & planted extra peppers.

Thu – School. Last day work. Said good-bye. Stan went back to shop. Bill H. called. Back from trip. Read about Johnstown flood.

1978

Sat – Gorgeous. Boys worked on cleaning out garage. Washed clothes. Went to S.H. Village. Got Julie jeans & top. Frank & Ivan went to Dave’s. Julie & I tool walk. Played cards.

Sun – Kids took things up for garage collection. Read paper. Baked cake. Harry had job. Had fried chicken & corn on cob. Watched final on “How West was Won”. Bill H. came out.

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Swept & Frank mopped. Changed sheets & made lasagna. Called Marion. Went to store. Dave came for supper & evening.

Tue – School. Called Eleanor. Worked in garden. Wrote Harold. Light rain. Baked apple rhubarb pizza & spice potato cake. Made chicken soup.

Wed – School. Wrote contest entries. Rain. Cut out & sewed glittens. Called Mary. Bill & Carolyn came. Went to store. Watched last of “The Dain Curse”.

Thu – School. Greg went to P.S. (McKeesport) for testing. Washed clothes. Frank cut front grass. Cut out shirt for Stan. Ivan cut back grass. Harry went to Army recruiter & worked. Went to K-Mart for film.

Fri – School. Harry stayed home. Got tux (wrong one). Took back & got flowers. Julie & I got Marion & went to Paula’s to take pictures. Harry went to Prom. Went to Marion’s – learned new stitch (broomstick).

May 13 - May 19, 1974-1978

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Swept & mopped cellar. Eleanor called. Met her at Minn. Fabrics. Got buttons. Ivan had game. Called Elaine.

Tue – School. Worked on Elaine’s outfit. Terrible time sewing button holes. Elaine came out. Called about jobs. Took Harry to Dr. Don came for Elaine. Nice day. Cut front grass. Harry broke open knee again.

Wed- School. Washed upstairs windows & put up screens. Washed dining room windows. Went to bank & store. Frank drove Greg to work. Took kids to store.

Thu – School. Carol & Elaine called. Washed clothes. Washed Julie’s windows & drapes. Put up screens. Took Harry to Dr. Kids finished grass. Trappens came to plow garden. Ivan had game..

Fri – No school. Worked on garden. Planted tomatoes & seeds. Cleaned kitchen. Had early lunch. Took kids to Kennywood. Poured rain in evening. Home early. Stella & Bill came out.

Sat – Washed clothes. Went to store. Stan went to bank & shop. Frank worked at shop in eve. Cleaned living room. Stan & I went to South Hills Village. Took back shoes. Stan & I saw “ The Sting”. Bill H. stopped.

Sun – Nice day. Stan worked on awning & worked at shop. I dug around trees. Cut out Carol’s drapes. Kids cleaned awning slats. Bill stopped & got tomato plants.

1975

Tue – School. Put load of clothes on. Took Ivan to dental clinic. Went to Grants & Krogers. Read paper & knitted.

Wed – School. Mended. Called Stella. Washed upstairs windows & put up screens. Ivan had game. Greg & Harry had practice. Gil Trappin dug garden. Went to PTO meeting. Music & Art show.

Thu – School. Up early. Planted seeds & tomato plants. Washed clothes. Went to town. Met Carol. She treated to lunch. Couldn’t find anything for me. Stan went to W. Va. Got souvenirs (I & J) & fish. Rain.

Fri – No school (picnic day). Nice. Did cleaning. Kids did theirs, too. Took kids to Borough Bldg. tennis courts Shopped for birthday present (Ivan’s friend). Watched fights.

Sat – Washed clothes (curtains to dining room & quilts). Washed windows in kitchen & dining room & put up screens. Frank cut grass in back. I did some. Cut Julie’s slacks.

Sun – Stan & I had breakfast together then went back to bed. Read paper. Harry & Greg had practice. Took Ivan to birthday party & went to store. Mary Narvin came out. Stan & I went to Pap’s.

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Wrote Elaine. Swept & mopped. Changed sheets. Sewed Julie’s slacks. Watered lawn. Johnny’s glass came to measure. Dan Arico came. Finished Julie’s slacks.

1976

Thu – School. Greg still home. Cleaned. Stopped at store after work. Stan had meeting in McKeesport – home late. He took Frank for testing by VRC.

Fri – No school. School. Picnic. Kids didn’t go. I worked. Harry worked. Made waffles & sausage. Stan went to shop. I went to bank. Took kids to Marion’s for supper.

Sat – Muggy. Went down & worked in garden. Planted tomatoes, etc. Julie planted. Washed clothes. Planted geraniums. Went to store. Went to Sears. Got yarn & glasses. Called Mary. Harry worked.

Sun – Baked Texas sheet cake & apple dessert. Cleaned house. Bill came & helped Stan with Simca. Made meat loaf. Called Mary. Kids got baths. Knitted.

Mon – Rain. School. Worked. Washed 1 load. Made ice tea. Knitted.

Tue – Cold. School. Worked. Harry went for driver’s test – no proof of insurance & went to eye doctor. Stan took Frank to hearing. Set up Frank at shop. Went to Valley Art show.

Wed – School. Worked. Ran out of gas on way home. Tired. Went to store.

1977

Fri – School. Washed clothes. Harry had car. He went to hospital dedication – chorus sang. Went to McGees – political meeting. Worked in garden.

Sat – Washed clothes – 4 big loads. Went to store. Dan Arico came. Julie & I finished planting the garden. Watered garden. Marion called. Sold yellow refrigerator.

Sun – Beautiful day. Cleaned kitchen & bath. Had hospital open house. Traffic – wow! Gave haircuts. Stan went to flea market – didn’t sell anything. Kids showered.

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Swept & mop cellar. Changed sheets. Sold rocker. Julie played volley ball (lunch time – 5^th & 4^th grade). Harry had game. Dave went back to work. Marion called.

Tue – School. Worked. Stan drove me then took truck to Latrobe. Dave started supper – had to get me from work. Stan didn’t get home til late.

Wed – School. Worked. Sharon Iames Donaghue’s mother-in-law died. Thunderstorms. Stan made spaghetti (good). Stan & I went to Harry’s spring concert.

Thu – School. Worked. Tired. Stan fixed fish & fr. fries. Kids all went to Harry’s game. Marion called. Looked over garden. Washed 1 load.

1978

Sat – Stan went to work. Greg went to Dr. for exam. Washed clothes. Ivan & I went to Eastland. Elaine was here. Bought rose & baby’s breath. Got roses from B&C. Ivan got key chain. Julie baked cake.

Sun – Rain. Lounged around. Called Marion. Carol & Jim came. Later Bill & Carolyn. Stan & boys made steak dinner. Delicious. Dave here, too. Watched TV. Mrs. Iames wood done – disgusted.

Mon – School. Julie stayed home. Drove Greg to work. Went to store & bank. Made payments. Dave came. He washed clothes. Called Marion & Mary. Watched finish of “Wheels”.

Tue – School. Rain. Greg late for work. Went to regular time. Washed clothes. Swept & Frank mopped. Changed sheets. Ivan cut grass front & back (all in one day).

Wed – School. Rain again. Jean Moll & Marion Zarichansky called. Baked cookies. Called about school (Frank). Hair appointment (Harry) & Marion. Went to Julie’s band concert at TJ. Went with Loreny & home with Larry Knuetson.

Thu – School. Rain. Frank went to town to see about school. Washed clothes. Called Marion John & Eleanor. Went to store. Tried to call Elaine – no answer.

Fri – No school (picnic). Nice day. Stan got tow-bar. Hauled away Simca. Harry got hair styled. Cleaned house. Took Julie to drive-in “Close Encounters”. Called Elaine.

Tue – School. Frost. Picked rhubarb. Bill & Carolyn came & took some of his things. Made cherry & rhubarb pie. Harry hurt knee. Dave took him to hospital. Went to PTA & Valley Art Show. Called Elaine.

Wed- School. Took Harry to Hospital. Fixed spaghetti sauce. Took Greg to dentist. Went to Dr. Siegel. Got G. glasses. Wrote Bill & Harold. Took KDKA card to town. Went to sewer meeting – late.

Thu – School. Harry home. Kids got picnic tickets. Grace Pavelko came. Washed clothes. Went to store. Went to Brownie fly-up. Ivan went to 6^th grade carnival. Stan went to shop. Teacher drove Ivan home.

Fri – School. Cleaned living room & kitchen. Dave called. Car towed away. Sent Frank but he got lost. Stan went. Bill had game – left Rose here. Went to Hosp. meeting. Stan worked at shop.

Sat – Nice day. Washed clothes. Carol came out. Bought me shoes – very nice. We went to Minn. Fabrics – got her drapery material.

Sun – Mother’s day. Rain. Sewed Elaine’s outfit. Dave went over to get Elaine. Bumped into car in front. Elaine tried on outfit. Dave took her back. Kids got baths.

Tue – School. Up early. Went to town. IRS audit. Made rhubarb pizza (good). Mr. Barr died. Typed for Greg. Watched TV. Stan went to shop.

Wed – School. Nice day. Typed Greg’s preface. Took Frank to Dr. Baum (Homestead). Stopped at store. Kids had ball practice. I went to school (last day). Home early.

Thu – School. Washed clothes. Wrote letter to Elaine. Got dressed – went to funeral home with Mrs. Benack & Mrs. Gurecka & Mrs. Ondich (for Mr. Barr). Typed Greg’s paper. Marion called & Mary called.

Fri – School. Up early. Typed Greg’s paper. Baked rhubarb pizza – took to Barr’s. Cleaned kitchen. Went to store. Stan & I went to funeral home (Mrs. Ramsey). Got pop.

Sat – Washed clothes. Cleaned house. Stan cut front grass. Took ice tea & pop to Ramsey’s. Cut back grass. Stan & I went to show “Godfather Part II”

Sun – Lazy. Read paper. Elaine called. Fixed rhubarb & cherry cobbler. Kids finished back grass. Carol & Jim came in new corvette. Dave called. Kids got baths.

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Swept & mopped cellar. Fixed lunch. Went to bank & store. Went to Julie’s fly-up. Had pizza, shrimp salad supper. Ivan & Julie had games. Stan went to Carbide Eng.

Thu – School. Worked. Turned warm. Washed clothes. Elaine, Andrea & Don stopped. Took back truck. Got call. Frank in jail. Stan went down to see him. Dave cut grass. Fixed meat for tomorrow.

Fri – School. Worked. Stan took me. Cooler. Went to Best Steak for lunch. Cleaned up. Went to store. Had Clairton Tech meeting, Tom Bennett, Jim Hudzik & Mike Kulish. Favorable.

Sat – Harry had double header. Made soup. Washed clothes. Baked cake & iced it (for Elaine’s birthday). Crocheted Carol’s shawl.

Sun – Lovely day. Up early to clean kitchen. Elaine, Carol here for lunch. Elaine left for Washington. Bill & Carol came. Bill worked on Simca & stayed for supper. Julie gave me plate. Got baths.

Mon – Nice day. School. Worked. Greg stayed home (poison ivy). He washed clothes & cleaned up. I washed 1 load in evening & mopped cellar. Stan went to Carbide Eng.

Tue – School. Greg home. Worked. Dave took Ivan to dentist & Dr. Siegels. Stan went to Frank’s hearing. Frank released. Dave cooked. Went to store. Frank visited.

Wed – School. Worked. Greg cooked hamburgers with Ivan. Made spaghetti sauce. Greg washed clothes.

Fri – Cleaned house. Stan went to McKeesport. Rained. Bill H. came for furniture for Bob. Went to bank & store. Had Bar B Q pork, corn on cob, artichokes. Changed refrigerators in cellar.

Sat – Washed clothes. Straightened Dave’s dishes, etc. Got plants from Bill & Carolyn. Julie went to Kennywood. Harry went for her – mix-up. Carol came with coat – didn’t fit.

Sun – Felt discouraged. Tried to get kids to cut grass. Greg poured oil. Stan fixed mower. Bill & Carolyn came. Elaine called. Grass got cut (at last). Picked rhubarb. Watched TV. Baths.

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Swept & mopped cellar. Went to store. Made lasagna & pies. Frank helped Stan. Went to Stella’s & to see Pap. Julie got report card.

Tue – Went to work. Felt blue. School. Chilly. Dave made chop suey & had apple pie. Stan drove Frank to McKeesport navy recruit. Wasted trip.

Wed – School. Went to work. Stan fixed steak & fr. fries. Read paper. Went to bed early. Marion called.

Thu – School. Worked. Not too bad. Stan had supper ready. Julie visited Middle School. I stopped at store for dessert. Went to Northway Mall. Julie came, too. Met Carol. She got me coat.

Sat – Marion called. Sharon Iames called. Washed clothes. Wrote to Elaine. Went to K-Mart. Mailed birthday cards. Finished Elaine’s sweater. Got letter from Bill B. Wrote post cards.

Mon – School. Rain. Washed clothes. Typed Harry’s job application. Swept & Frank mopped. Changed sheets. Went to store & milk store. Marion called. Watched TV & knitted glitten.

Tue – School. Harry & Ivan missed the bus. Stan drove Ivan up. Made kapusta & pierogi. Called Eleanor. Harry went later. Went to store. Made spaghetti sauce. Watched “Wheels”.

Wed – School. Went with Greg. Took bus to town. Met Carol for lunch. Shopped at Lane Bryant. Elaine called. Had spaghetti. Bill & Carolyn stopped. Washed 1 load.

Thu – School. Nice day. Put out plants. Washed clothes. Made cherry strudel & stuffed chicken. Planted corn & beans. Harry brought Paula. Harry made honor roll.

Fri – School. Called Marion & Eleanor. Cleaned house. Washed 1 my 2 Julie’s windows. Put up screens. Had pierogi & kapusta. Julie, Stan & I went to McKeesport for Wind Symphony.
