1969

Wed- School. Sewed Wendy’s nightgown. Went to Murphy’s for more lace. Went to Wizenthal’s (coupons). Wrapped presents.

Thu – School. Washed clothes. Went to Bartolotta’s. Went for pump for car window washer. Folded & ironed. Stan went bowling. Watched TV & wrapped presents.

Fri – School. Cleaned off walks & porch. Made chocolate cake roll. Went to bank. Cleaned upstairs bath thoroughly. Wrapped gifts. Took over to Iames.

Sat – Washed clothes. Kids cleaned. Thoroughly cleaned bathroom. Embroidered Dad & Mary’s pillowcase. Carol had date. Stan stayed up to read.

Sun – Embroidered other pillow case. Rain. Read paper. Went to Haines & White Cross. Baked cake. Got call. Bill was in. Carol took kids out to airport. Visited. Bill went to Wendy’s.

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Wendy came over – stayed for supper. Went to store. Ironed clothes. Bill H. came out. Stan went to Carbide Eng.

Tue – School. Took Bill for eye test. Went to PP. Got X-mas gifts at S&H. Took Bill to Dr. Washed kitchen windows. Bill went to Wendy’s. Went to Bookmobile.

1970

Thu – School. Washed clothes. Folded & ironed. Bill took Stan bowling. Dave went to library. Harry & Ivan went swimming. Relaxed. Called Dad.

Fri – School. Went to K-Mart & Thorofare. Went to Foodland. Dave went to library. Carol, Bill & Greg went to Diane’s. Tried to get them on phone (about Bill’s work). Kids out playing. Quiet evening.

Sat – Washed clothes. Carol went shopping. Kids cleaned. Ironed. Stan visited his Dad & Julie & I went to Grandpa & Aunt Mary. Elaine was at Andrea’s.

Sun – Had cold. Dave went to UU Church. Baked cake. Fixed chicken soup. Janey stopped up. Andrea came. Stayed for supper. Dave, Elaine went to LRY. Started to sew Carol’s outfit.

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Folded & Ironed. Changed sheets. Swept & mopped cellar. Went to Foodland & K-Mart. Sewed. Stan went bowling.

Tue – School. Washed hair. Finished Carol’s outfit & mended. Baked pies. Andrea & Bill H. stayed for supper. Planted 2 cedar trees. Started on X-mas cards.

Wed – School. Cleaned bath wall tiles & waxed. Went to store. Started Carol’s purse.

1971

Fri – School. Cleaned living room. Went to bank & store. Called Dad. Went to Clabers.

Sat – Kids cleaned. Washed clothes. Ironed. Elaine & Frank shopped. Harry & Ivan went bowling. Stan & I went to Eastland. Got Stan rain coat.

Sun – Baked cake. Read paper. Went to Haines. Called Carol. Made Sukiyaki. Watched TV. Kids got baths. Elaine & Dave went to LRY.

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Ironed. Dave home. Went to Zayres. Shopped. Stan went bowling. I went in to Dad’s.

Tue – School. Swept & mopped cellar. Made corn beef & cabbage. Went to store. Showered.

Wed – School. Fr. home sick. Made banana cream pie. Went to TV stamp. Got new ironing board. Stopped at Haines. Cut out Julie’s nightgown. Sewed. Called Stella.

Thu – School. Dave & Bill home. Washed clothes. Went to K-Mart. Put on new ironing pad. Ironed. Finished Julie’s nightgown. Watched TV. Started X-mas cards. Dave took Greg to Dr. Siegel.

1972

Sun – Stan & fellows went to shop to work on Datsun. Jim helped. Went to Haines. Elaine worked. Kids worked on puzzles. Got baths.

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Swept & mopped cellar. Made beds. Went to Foodland & K-Mart.

Tue – School. Eleanor called. Picked up puzzle. Cleaned living room. Marion called. Worked puzzle. Bill H. came. Finished up work on Datsun. Cat got into the cake.

Wed – School. Wrapped X-mas presents. Took them to the shop. Stan got me milk. Started on X-mas cards. Buildt fire.

Thu – School. Washed clothes. Showered & washed hair. Stan & Frank went to football banquet. Went to town. Got credit on shoes.

Fri – School. Ironed. Called on phone about X-mas tree. Worked on Christmas cards. Harry had X-mas practice.

Sat – Washed clothes. Stan home. Went to Pennys and Bartolotta’s. Julie saw Santa. Jay from Ohio came for E. (she went to work). Went to K-Mart. Played cards.

1973

Mon – School. Washed clothes. Swept & mopped cellar. Changed sheets. PAT strike. Went to K-Mart. Called Mary.

Tue – School. Made Carol’s night gown. Carol came for lunch. Called Grace Pavelko. Took Harry to Horne’s.

Wed – School. Sewed Elaine’s night gown. Made me a half slip. Car wouldn’t start. Put on charger. Went to Grant City. Carol came for lunch.

Thu – School. Sewed Julie’s nightgown. Started skirt. Bill & Harry worked on my car (Put new water pump). Frank, Stan & I went to football banquet.

Fri – School. Ivan home sick. Cleaned living room & bedroom. Addressed Christmas cards. Read paper & knitted.

Sat – Washed clothes. Kids cleaned. Greg or Harry didn’t go to Jim’s. Worked on Christmas cards. Carol came. We went to Sears. She bought me my birthday present.

Sun – Light snow. Ivan baked cake. My car wouldn’t start. No acid in battery. Stan drove me to store. Knitted Elaine’s slipper socks. Did cards for shop.
